    How your customers pay you

    Directly. Your bank details and your own payment link (Stripe, SumUp, PayPal or similar) go on every invoice, or they pay you by card machine or cash. ServicePay never handles the money and takes £0 from it. How invoicing works.

    Questions, answered

    Are there any hidden fees?

    No. You pay a monthly subscription for ServicePay and that is all. We take nothing from your customers' payments: they pay you directly, by bank transfer, your own payment link, card machine or cash.

    Is there a free plan?

    Your GotAPal profile is free: claim it, collect reviews and take enquiries at no cost. ServicePay (the software that runs quotes, jobs, invoices and review requests) is £39/mo, with a 14-day free trial and no card needed to start.

    Can I cancel any time?

    Yes. Subscriptions cancel at month-end. No exit fees.

    Is there a contract?

    No.

    What's the relationship with GotAPal?

    GotAPal is the free directory where customers find you. ServicePay is the paid app that runs the work after the enquiry: quotes, jobs, invoices and review requests. Use GotAPal free on its own, or add ServicePay Pro to run the jobs and ask each customer for a review.

    Are your reviews real?

    Every review request comes from a job you've completed in ServicePay and goes to that job's customer, who confirms the job and the amount before reviewing. We don't hide the bad ones, and a business cannot write, edit or hide a review. That keeps you the right side of the UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act, which made fake reviews illegal in April 2025. Your reviews show on your GotAPal profile, embed on your own website, and follow you wherever you go.
