What's included

One-Click Generation

Card Payments

Customers pay by debit or credit card via their portal link. Choose ServicePay Payments (2.9% + £1, no setup) or connect your own Stripe account (£0 platform fee).

UK VAT Calculations

Correct VAT at standard, reduced, or zero rate — configured once.

Automatic Reminders

Stop chasing. ServicePay sends polite reminders for overdue invoices.

Payouts you control

Net funds land in your own Stripe balance and pay out to your bank on your own schedule — daily by default in the UK. Stripe sets the initial timing on a new account.

Payment History

Complete payment trail for every customer — perfect for disputes and tax.

The maths a trade actually needs

VAT, the domestic reverse charge and CIS deductions are handled where they apply rather than left to a spreadsheet. Getting these wrong is an HMRC error rather than a tidiness problem.

Chasing without the awkward phone call

Overdue invoices are visible and can be followed up from the same screen. Most late payment is not refusal, it is that the invoice went to somebody's spam folder in March.

Invoicing & Payments — your questions

Can I record partial payments?

Yes. Record deposits and part-payments. ServicePay tracks the outstanding balance automatically.

How do automatic reminders work?

When an invoice passes its due date, ServicePay sends a polite reminder to the customer. You can configure the timing.

Can customers pay by card?

Yes — and you choose how it's processed. Use ServicePay Payments for a managed, no-setup option (2.9% + £1, never more than 4%), or connect your own Stripe account and pay £0 platform fee. Either way, customers pay by debit or credit card via their portal link.

Does it calculate VAT automatically?

Yes. Set your VAT rate once in settings and every invoice calculates correctly.

How do payouts work?

Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account. Our fee comes off at the point of payment; the rest is yours, and Stripe pays it out to your bank on the schedule you set in your Stripe dashboard — daily by default in the UK. Stripe sets the timing on a brand-new account.
