1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ServicePay ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ServicePay provides a cloud-based platform for tradespeople to manage quotes, jobs, invoices, customers, and scheduling. ServicePay is a technology platform — it is not a bank, payment institution, or e-money issuer.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Subscription & Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of your billing period.

5. Payments from your customers

5.1 ServicePay is not a payment service

ServicePay does not take, hold, process or transmit payments from your customers, and charges no fee on them. Your customers pay you directly. ServicePay’s only charge is your subscription (clause 4).

5.2 Your payment arrangements

You choose how your customers pay you: bank transfer, your own payment link from a provider such as Stripe, SumUp, PayPal or GoCardless, a card machine, or cash. Any agreement with a payment provider is between you and that provider, and its fees, the timing of money reaching you, holds and disputes are governed by that agreement, not by these Terms. ServicePay is not a party to it.

5.3 Payment details on invoices

You are responsible for the bank details and payment links you add to ServicePay, and for checking they are correct before you send an invoice. ServicePay includes them on invoices as you entered them.

5.4 Payment records

ServicePay lets you record payments against an invoice, including part payments, the method and the date. These records are your own and are not evidence that ServicePay received or verified any money. You are responsible for keeping them accurate.

5.5 Reviews

When you mark a job complete, ServicePay may send your customer a link to confirm the job and the amount and to leave a review. Every submitted review is published. You must not submit, write, edit or incentivise reviews of your own business, or ask anyone else to. ServicePay may suspend review features where it reasonably suspects misuse.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into ServicePay. We will not sell, share, or use your data for purposes other than providing the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

ServicePay is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. ServicePay is not liable for payments between you and your customers, including delays, failures, refunds or disputes handled by your bank or payment provider, nor for any loss arising from incorrect payment details or fraudulent transactions.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
